Mark Whittell


Mark is a solicitor with more than 25 years of experience, specialising in banking, insolvency, professional negligence and partnership matters (within the medical, dentistry, accountancy, legal and architect professions).

He is currently a Litigation Partner in a boutique corporate law firm with offices in Manchester and London. He is a CEDR accredited mediator and a member of the CEDR Panel of Mediators. He has an accreditation as a workplace mediator and has recently added an accreditation as a matrimonial mediator.

ADR / Mediation experience

Accredited by CEDR in 2000, Mark is also an ADR panel mediator, both as a commercial mediator and workplace mediator. He recently received a matrimonial accreditation. Not only has Mark conducted mediations in a wide range of areas, he has also been lead negotiator on numerous occasions for his own clients and, therefore, fully appreciates the needs of the parties. He describes mediation as a major tool in his armoury to settle his own cases. He practises what he preaches.
